about

My name is Laura Greb-Anand and I created Artmeme to empower and educate visual artists by providing real world business instructive tools to better enable job security and advance careers. I recently updated the Artmeme Facebook Page and Twitter account so please “like” (or love!) and “follow” (or stalk!).

For years, I have worked with artists and my passion really sprung to life while working for a major stock-licensing agency in New York City back in 2006. Over time, my passion grew immensely to help artists attain the essential business skills needed in order to move forward with their career. I explored various avenues of the art world from representing photographers to curating shows. I  spent the majority of 2011 connecting with artists and communities to figure out the best way to help student, recreational and professional visual artists with their career growth and development process. I had the pleasure of curating art shows in New York and New Jersey.

I’m a huge Jack Kerouac fan so when he said, “Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.” ,  it keeps me going.  As an artist, you need to keep going, experimenting and never give up. Maybe for the moment but not forever. If you start to feel at a loss for not having the appropriate business tools to answer any art business related issues questions, visit Artmeme, empowering and educating aspiring artists worldwide.
